About Weddings
Our female photographer, Jodie started photographing weddings in her late teens and at the age of 23 qualified as a member of the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP). After years of working along side her Father, Jodie now undertakes all JD Photography weddings.
"If you ask any girl if they enjoy a good wedding, the answer would be yes. I'm no different, I just take photographs at the same time! I am passionate about my work, enjoy what I do and consider it a privilege to be part of the wedding.
I take an unobtrusive approach to wedding photography, capturing the emotion, the love, the laughter and the fun of your day as it unfolds, blending both traditional and contemporary styles to create a selection of natural and expressive images for you to cherish. To me the photography is one of the most important aspects of a wedding, because your photographs are all you will have left along with your memories. However it shouldn't mean that it goes on for hours and natural smiles become fake grins! I work quickly and efficiently, taking a range of photographs, usually in excess of over 250 images! I can't help but get caught up in the day and go a little snap happy!
What's also important is the cost of wedding photography. I believe you shouldn't have to pay over the odds for great, creative and fun photography and am confident my prices are realistic and within most budgets."
